A dark blue "gauge 0"-scaled clockwork model LNER Express Parcels Service Van with a silver radiator and wheelhubs and black tyres.
The piece was made by Triang in the late 1940s as part of the Minic vehicles range, catalogue number 81M.
Details
The front sides of the container section have the LNER "eye" symbol and "EXPRESS PARCELS SERVICE" in white, and the rear part of the sides carry a poster on each side – the van's right hand side is visible and carries a poster for IMA (International Model Aircraft).
The fleet number BB 1374 is in small white letters on the bonnet.
