Crawford's Biscuit Van type 3, pb (Hornby Series)Crawfords Biscuit Van from the 1928 Hornby Book of Trains, with the same livery, but with "open" trunionwork (i) |
location: |
A bright red Hornby Series railway Crawford's Biscuit Van, with bright red base and roof, and a black undercarriage - the type 3, "closed" version with a crossbar linking the wheel trunnions on each side.
The side of the van is marked "CRAWFORD'S BISCUITS" in gold capital letters with a thin black outline, and a royal crest, bottom-left. The goods van doesn't seem to have a "Hornby Series" sticker (at least, not on the side that's visible).
This model railway wagon is part of a train on the 1930s gauge 0 layout that performs a single circuit of the track when visitors press a button.
