12 Dinky 47-Series road signs in original box.

Black and white striped poles with signs and red triangles on the top, 1935-1944.

These road signs were one of the first Dinky accessories to become available, these prewar versions (distinguished by their hollow triangle interior) were cast from MAZAC which left them vulnerable to metal fatigue over time.

Production resumed after the war, until the signs were finally discontinued in 1954.

They were replaced by four sets of six updated signs, which were also available as a full set of 24.

1963: British Road Signs, set of 24, updated, Dinky Toys 772
