A red and yellow gauge 0 passenger car, marked "Ives R.R. Lines", 1690, produced under the Ives name by the Lionel factory in Irvington in 1932.

The construction of thre 1690-1691 series differed from earlier models in that instead of having a separate roof-piece attached by a central screw, the long sides of the carriage and the roof were made from a single piece of curved tinplate (which reduced manufacturing costs). The carriage has six punched yellow windows, each divided into three window panels, flanked by a pair of yellow passenger doors with stubby brass handrails.

These railways cars were introduced the in 1931 (the first year of Irvington production). The earlier 1931 production was yellow and blue.
