A green 4-4-4 SR Hornby Series No.2 Tank Locomotive, marked SOUTHERN B 604.
The loco appeared in the Hornby Book of trains in 1928, as "properly" numbered No.2 locos started to replace the ones that were just marked with an anonymous "4-4-4".
The "B" stands for "Brighton Works"
