A rare green, Southern Railway (SR) version of the classic Hornby Gas Cylinder Wagon with gold lettering.
The "normal" Hornby gas cylinder wagons all had red cylinders, and although there were variations, some of these were fairly minor, so to a collector used to painstakingly searching for these subtle differences, it can be a shock to be suddenly confronted with a version of RS 662 in dark green!
The green version is almost never seen, and when one does occasionally appear for sale, the asking prices are much, much higher.
