The Dancing Bear is a replica of a Steiff dark brown burlap plush Dancing Bear from circa 1907.
He is holding a pole mounted on a turned wooden base. He has a nose ring chained to a post. His head is looking down and he is standing on all fours. He thus looks more like a bear than like a teddybear.
