A largeish white, red, and green model Castellated Manor House building, made using the Airfix Betta Bilda plastic construction set toy.
The model is mostly white, with red windows and red castellations and a large green roof.
Design
The model was designed by the museum to use and show off the entire range of parts produced for Betta Bilda, especially the sophisticated roof system. It shows off the castle parts, including the jutting supports, castellations and cross-shaped arrow-slits, and also round pillars, quarter-circle curves, and entranceway parts.
The roof has two forward-jutting wings and a central rearward-jutting extension (with different spine heights), showing some of the complex configurations possible with the Betta Bilda roofing system.
