1960s

A cream-coloured diecast metal model of a Tanker Wharf Berth, Tri-ang Minic Ships M 855.

The piece is a "T"-shaped two-level oil tanker terminal, with long piece parallel to the docking tanker, and aramped piece that takes a set of oil pipes and raises them up to a level above the tanker deck. It has a central raised black plastic pipe umbilical array that would lower onto the deck of the tanker, and four plastic parts that look like general-purpose outboard pipes.

Our example seems to have these secondary pieces missing, with a couple of plastic cranes plugged into two of the holes, instead. Which might be a legitimate alternative configuration.
