Dux Kino MM box artwork [image info]

A boxed red Bakelite Dux Kino projector with clockwork motor and electric lamps, and a dual silver-coloured lens holder, manufactured by Markes & Co of Lüdenscheid, Germany, between 1935 and 1938. The projector was donated to the museum by the Batting Family in early 2017.

The projector still has its original manual, and three numbered silver aluminium film canisters.

Dux Kino box flap

This is the first version of the Dux Kino projector to be produced, with subsequent versions of the projector delighting small children for the next forty years.
