The Train Collectors Society (TCS) is a British-based organisation founded in 1979 for enthusiasts interested in a broader range of subjects than is covered by maker-specific organisations such as the Bassett-Lowke Society (BLS) and the Hornby Railway Collectors' Association (HRCA), or who are interested in smaller makers that don't have dedicated societies.

The Society was founded in 1979, and has around 500 members worldwide. Its archivist is Pat Hammond.

Mission statement

The Society's motto is:

ANY MAKE - ANY GAUGE - ANY AGE

The TCS publishes the Train Collector magazine (ISSN 25160605), a glossy colour 52-page photo-intensive publication four times per year, at the beginning of March, June, September and December.

The magazine's Editor is Nicholas Oddy.
