Betta Bilda Engineer

1968 - 1974

Betta Bilda Engineer was a strip-based construction set system, that looked slightly similar to Lego's wooden Bilofix system.

"An exploded view showing the construction of an Aeroplane"

The big differences with "Engineer" were that the rounded holed strips were made of plastic rather than wood, and that the system came with adaptors that connected ot the side of a strip via its ridges, or to the edge of a strip via a 90-degree piece that plugged into one of the strip holes, to allow the standard Betta Builder bricks to connect to the strips, either parallel the the strip plane, or at 90 degrees.

"Here's how to use your flat adaptors and angle adaptors with bricks"
