Southern Rail brown Luggage Van with a cream roof and the company initials in gold, one letter on either side of the hinged door in the centre, 1928-30.
The covered luggage vans were introduced in 1921 and came in a variety of colours for different railway companies. Automatic couplings were added in 1931, and sliding doors later that year.
