An orange and green clockwork "Jabberwock" with original retail box, made by Lines Brothers, probably in the 1950s.

The toy is a cheerful and friendly-looking dragon-style beast, that waddles along when wound up. The name "Jabberwock" is a reference to the monster that appears in a poem in Lewis Carroll's Alice Through the Looking-Glass.
