The Sussex Vintage Model Railway Collectors group (SVMRC) is a small, friendly club for people who like to run and talk about toy and model trains (of any age or gauge) from their own collections.

Monthly meetings are held alternately at the Museum and at the Knoyle Hall, Knoyle Road, Preston, Brighton.

At the Museum, the club has the use of a portable test track for three-rail gauge 0 and Hornby Dublo, and members are permitted to run their own trains on the Museum’s scenic two-rail 00 gauge layout.

Similar facilities for running trains are also available at the Knoyle Hall, where meetings often include a short talk by a member. An annual club exhibition also takes place at this venue.
