Glamour of Brighton
A white rectangular cloth antimacassar, with "Pullman" embroidered on the lower edge in blue.
These cloths were draped over the top edge of seats in Pullman carriages to protect the seats from hair oil and hair lacquer, and protect passengers' clothes from stains left by earlier passengers’ hair products.
