6. Play Spoons

Essentially we wanted to create a toy that encouraged young children to eat. When thinking about mealtimes, parents often engage with their child by commonly pretending the spoon is a train or animal.

We were drawn to this aspect of meal times as it promotes engagement for the child. We expanded on this notion by eventually creating baby spoon rattles. We feel confident that this toy would have a place in the market due to its diverse possibilities.

Rattles could range from animals, to transport, to seasonal characters such as Santa or the Easter Bunny. This toy could easily have a place in the evolution of meal times by becoming something to assist parents and encourage children to eat food.
