INVENTORY OF THE FURNITURE

NO self-respecting house is complete without an inventory of its contents, and it is hardly necessary to add that Mirror Grange is not lacking in this respect.

In these days of financial strain and stress, even the "best people" are often compelled to take unusual measures to counteract the ravages of excessive taxation.

Should the present residents of Mirror Grange ever be forced to let their dwelling for a season, while wintering abroad, or -- terrible thought -- if the property ever came into the market for sale, the would-be purchasers would realise that they were bidding for a thoroughly well-appointed property by glancing at the inventory that follows :-

Two of the most important rooms in any house are the bathroom and the nursery. The bathroom at Mirror Grange is simply yet adequately furnished.
