An "Oilette" postcard of "China Coffee Services", The Queen's Dolls' House (later to be known as Queen Mary's Dolls' House), produced by Raphael Tuck and Sons ("Tuck's Postcards") catalogue number 4500-7. These postcards started to be produced in 1924, when the dollhouse first went on public display.

SERIES I: HOUSE, HALL & DINING-ROOM

-

I: 4500: CHINA COFFEE SERVICES.

Wherever one looks in the Queen's Dolls' House, one is struck by the infinite pains taken to ensure accuracy and artistic effect in every item from the greatest to the least. The china and glass are no exception and the Coffee Services shown in the picture are worthy, by reason of their beautiful style and colouring, of a place in this most famous miniature mansion.
