The car carries a number 2 racing number.
The box is missing the end panel with identification sticker.
The original car
A few instances of the celebrated Aston Martin DBR1 were built between 1956 and 1959 for racing and won various competitions. The first of the series, DBR1-1, was recently sold for over twenty million dollars.
