An incomplete aluminium kitchenware Young Helpers Set No.3, Tri-ang 3069, made in the 1930s

We have the multi-part steamer and the other stackable pan set, and the kettle (with a damaged handle). We're currently missing the frying pan and colander.

Identification

The larger pieces are unusual for aluminium doll kitchenware in that they are actually stamped with the maker (Triang, and the classic triangular logo) – normally this genre of toy kitchenware is doesn't carry marks, which makes identification damnably difficult. Once one knows that they are Triang, the pieces obviously correspond to the images for 3069 in the 1937 catalogue.

1937 catalogue description

— , Lines Brothers, , Tri-ang Toys catalogue, , 1937

The stamped pieces also carry the text "B.C.M. TOWER", which we haven't yet identified, it sounds as if it might refer to a subcontractor or one of the many Lines Brothers sub-companies.
