The Book of Hornby Trains and Meccano Products (1935)

From The Brighton Toy and Model Index

The Book of Hornby Trains and Meccano Products was a one-off publication produced by Meccano Ltd. in 1935, and seemed to cover just about everything that the company was then producing. The cover was bright yellow, and showed examples of vehicles from the main Meccano Ltd. ranges.

A large metal girder bridge (Meccano?) spans a river. A Hornby speedboat races across the water, and a Meccano Motor Car Constructor car drives along the near riverside road. A Hornby train streams across the bridge, and a Meccano Aeroplane Constructor biplane is airborne to the right of the bridge.

It's not immediately clear at first sight where the BoHTaMP fits into the Hornby Book of Trains chronology, but the book was advertised as "new" in the November 1935 issue of Meccano Magazine (on page xi) so presumably the book was already published (or intended to be published) by late 1935.
