1920s

A gauge 1, model Goods Truck built from Primus Engineering kit parts. The superstructure of the high-sided truck is a basic Meccano-like skeleton, sheathed with stacked, lipped, wooden side-and end-pieces.

The 1923 catalogue says:

" Realistic and strongly made, with wheels adjustable to gauge 0 or 1 rails. "

The Goods Truck was sold ready-built for a price of 6/6, or users could build it themselves as design "Heavy Goods Truck 116" ("All-wood sides, ends and buffer-blocks"), using parts from the the "No. 2 Outfit" kit.
