A small model of the silver four-engined Handley Page H.P.45 "Heracles" Imperial Airways biplane airliner, number G-AAXC.
Heracles was one of four H.P.45's (there were another four H.P. 42's), all of which had names beginning with "H".
Heracles' maiden flight was in August 1930, and it flew without major incident until just after the RAF took possession of it in 1940, when a gale smashed it and H.P.42 "Hanno" together on the ground, damaging both beyond repair.
