The Heritage Lottery Fund has generously funded two recent projects for the museum, the Frank Hornby 150th anniversary project (2012-2013), and the current Toys in the Community oral history project (2014-2016).
Although these grant amounts may seem large, funding for these projects is for additional activities and is "firewalled" off from other museum spending, and can't be diverted to general running costs – so we still need your ticket income and donations to keep the museum open!
