  • Caption: "SUMMER AND WINTER ROLLING-STOCK on the modern Volk's Electric Railway. During the winter the closed-in saloon type is run. The gauge of the current railway is 2 ft 8½ in., and is unique in Great Britain. There are ten cars on the line, and a five-minute service is maintained throughout the year. The seating capacity of each car is thirty-two."
