The book's image image attributions are somewhat vague, we're assuming that this is a publicity photo owned by the company, and that it is either out of copyright (if the picture was published/used at the time), or if not, that its use here is arguably "fair use" (as it is used to explain, document and promote the history of the company, presumably the use for which the photo was taken).
