Everybody's Book of the Queen's Dolls' House, published by The Daily Telegraph and Meuthen & Co., Ltd. in 1924, was a "popular" hardcover book based on extracts from the monster full-size, two-volume hideously expensive "official book". The editing-down was done by F.V. Morley

The 160-page "Everybody's Book ...", with lots of monochrome images and eleven colour plates, was presumably motivated by the idea that although there technically was a book for people to buy, a large-format two-volume limited edition was probably not the sort of thing that people would have had in mind as a souvenir - this fit the bill much better.
