A handpuppet of "The Devil", from Punch and Judy.
The puppet has a black face with red fangs and horns, red eyes, and red and hellow details. he is dressed in black with black boots, red trousers and a red cloak or coat.
The puppet dates from around 1840, and has a head made from moulded composition, and wooden hands and feet.
