A maroon gauge 0 model of the LMS "Princess Royal" Class 4-6-2 "Princess Elizabeth" locomotive, running number 6201, in its original wooden display box, in very nice condition.

Made by Meccano for Hornby circa 1935, this was an "aspirational" model to own in its day. As Hornby's "flagship" model locomotive, with a price tag to match, Hornby even offered financing for the model.
