A maroon 0-4-0 gauge 0 locomotive (LMS running number 8712), with a black front and gold lining, made by Hornby in the 1930s.
The original locomotive
The online railuk.info database indicates that the real LMS 8712 was a Class 4F-D (introduced in 1908 with locomotive 8700), and that the wheel configuration for the original locomotive was actually 4-6-0.
