A "guest" Golden Arrow train running on the Museum's gauge 0 layout, Train Running Day, Spring 2012

This is one of the original metal header signs that were attached to the front of locomotives working the prestigious Golden Arrow train.

It consists of a dark green metal disc with a black border painted with the words "GOLDEN ARROW" in gold, with the two letter "O"'s pierced by a diagonal golden dart that points from top left to bottom right.

The arrowhead and flights extend past the edges of the disk, and are backed by a metal reinforcing bar.
