Commission Sales
As well as toys, the Museum Shop also sells selected items on commission for Museum customers.
"Commission sale" items are marked with a red dot and an identification number.
The shop has three main areas for displaying "commission sale" items: the two tall glass-fronted cabinets to the left and right of the door when you enter Arch One are for gauge 0 trains and accessories, and for cars and vehicles, respectively, while the area under the museum counter holds miscellaneous items, and very small pieces (such as lead ships) are kept in a glass case on top of the counter. Some items are also often kept on the shelves against the wall behind the counter.
Items that are donated to the Museum for sale have a green dot, and don't have identification numbers.
