A large clockwork model of a Peugeot car from the 1890's manufactured by Günthermann.
The model (with its upright handlebar-mustachioed driver) came in four sizes, and this was the largest (29cm long).
The front of the car has a small luggage area, which appears to be holding the driver's lunch box, with pictures of cats on the lifting lids.
