An small early 00-gauge trackside speed controller for the Bing Table Railway electric range.

The controller protrudes from the side of a curved section of tinplate three-rail track, and has a slightly recessed rounded-cornered squarish panel made of a dark insulating material, with a single silver swivelling arm that can be rotated to make electrical contact with one of five numbered metal studs, or rotated fully anticlockwise in the "OFF" position.
