Bing Table Railway (display)
Shelf 1

A small clockwork table railway set made by Karl Bub of Nuremburg circa 1928.

The set is derived from the Bing Table Railway designs that Bub took over after the Bing company's demise, and consists of one black (red-lined) 0-4-0 tank locomotive, two white-roofed brown and white passenger carriages and a quantity of curved track. The set is displayed in its original box, with the original paperwork and box lid (with artwork).

Comparing the Bub loco to the earlier Bing version, Bub seem to have omitted the two smaller front wheels from the design to create a cheaper 0-4-0 model, with a lightly odd-looking front gap.
