The "Sir Granville" quarter-scale steamroller was built by George Woodcock of Twyford in 1971, and was purchased and completed by its present owner in 1980.

It is a coal-fired, long-wheelbase Aveling-type road roller, and it has been rallied in Scotland, England, Germany and France. It will pull 6-8 people in a trailer.

It is named after the owner's father, British composer Sir Granville Bantock.
