A model of an SNCF 67000-series lightweight diesel locomotive, in blue, with a white side-flash and black roof, running number 67001.

The 6700-series diesels started appearing in 1963, and were designed to replace the last of the steam locomotives in use on the un-electrified parts of France's rail network.
