The Museum's Resource Room is not a public-access area.

The Resource Room holds the Museum's reference and research library, and two auxiliary computers used by researchers and volunteers.

The resource room is used for the museum's inventory work, for general historical research, for one-off projects such as the recent Frank Hornby 150th Anniversary project and the current Toys in the Community project, for work on text and images for the museum's public online information system, and for other miscellaneous work, such as the production of posters and flyers for events.
