A large green gauge 3 steam-powered model of the old GWR County "3800-Class" 4-4-0 "County of Northampton" locomotive, number 3410, with gold and black lining and tender marked "GREAT WESTERN" .

Made by Bing for Bassett-Lowke, circa 1914.

The model is in the top left corner of the cabinet.

The original locomotive

The original "County" class locomotives were built in three batches, in 1904, 1906 and 1912, and were later renumbered into the 3800- range.
