A green Hornby Series 4-4-0 electric No.2 Special locomotive and tender, GWR 3821, "County of Bedford", with front lightbulb. This loco design was one of the four original members of the very popular "No.2 Special" tender loco range launched in 1929.

The original locomotive

The Great Western Railway's County Class (or 3800-Class) was a set of forty 4-4-0 locomotives that started with 3800 Middlesex in 1904. The last of them were retired by the end of 1933.

Number 3821 County of Bedford was available for use between 1911 and 1921.
