An "Oilette" postcard of "China Tea Service and Toilet Set", The Queen's Dolls' House (later to be known as Queen Mary's Dolls' House), produced by Raphael Tuck and Sons ("Tuck's Postcards") catalogue number 4504-4. These postcards started to be produced in 1924, when the dollhouse first went on public display.

V: 4504: THE GARDEN ENTRANCE.

The Queen's Dolls' House is fascinating in the extent and variety of its miniature equipment. Nothing seems to be left out and every wish is anticipated. The picture shows the lovely China Tea Service and the beautiful Toilet Set complete even to the sponge bowl and soap dish with perforated tray, the gift of Her Majesty The Queen and made in Stoke-on-Trent, the home of so much beautiful English Art Pottery.
