These postcards started to be produced in 1924, when the dollhouse first went on public display.

SERIES IV: THE QUEEN'S PRIVATE BOUDOIR

-

IV: 4503: CARPET IN QUEEN’S BEDROOM.

The Queen's Dolls’ House is an astonishingly real place. The care and forethought shown in the planning of the numerous rooms extend to the smallest details of the furniture. The beautiful carpet shown in the picture was specially woven at the Weaving School for Crippled Girls at Stratford-on-Avon. Design and colouring are exquisite.
